Arutyun Topchyan is a founding partner of A&T Legal Group. Arutyun, or “Art”, began his legal career at the Law Offices of Geragos & Geragos, where he worked on various types of criminal and civil matters. While at Geragos & Geragos, Art gained valuable experience in all aspects of the legal field under the guidance of experienced trial attorneys. He worked on several high profile cases including the Scott Peterson and Michael Jackson trials.
Art also clerked for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, assisting in the prosecution of sexual assault cases as well as working in the misdemeanor and felony charging units. There, he gained valuable experience and insight into the inner working of the District Attorney’s office while getting significant courtroom experience.
Art was also an associate at the Law Offices of Theodore F. Monroe, where he was able to expand his legal knowledge and skill in the areas of business transactions and litigation.
Art also worked as an associate and trial attorney at the Law Offices of Richard M. Foster, one of the preeminent trial attorneys in California. There, Art gained significant litigation experience in representing clients in business litigation, personal injury, criminal law, and unlawful detainers. Art tried multiple cases in the Los Angeles Superior Court, including a several month complex civil business trial in the Los Angeles Superior Court. Art has also successfully argued in front of the California Court of Appeals.
